Great indoor/outdoor grill!!

the best product anti aging review on George Foreman GGR200RDDS Outdoor Electric

George Foreman GGR200RDDS Outdoor Electric

I read a lot of reviews about the George Foreman Electric Grill. Many said they bought it because they live in apartmen t and can't have open fire. Some said they bought it to go outside, but it never left the kitchen and they use it all the time! I thought that was rather ridiculous and was sure that would not be me. Much to my surprise, the grill has not left our kitchen either!! It's great; fast to preheat and the food cooks very quickly and is extremely tasty. It's fun to cook table side! I did not think I would grill good quality steak on it, because I thought it would taste as good as a charcoal grill . Again, I was wrong. The steak was delicious. In fact, it took less time than the directions led me to believe. A thick steak, cooked to perfection in 12 minutes! We have made chicken, pork and fish and all were very tasty. There is no vent in the hood top, so food cooks quickly and evenly and there is not a lot of smoky smell lingering long into the night. It's "non-stick" surface takes awhile to clean thoroughly. That's the only Slight disadvantage. We are very pleased with the product; much more so than we ever expected to be! I never had an interest in the George Foreman table top grill , so this was a complete surprise that we like it so well.

  1. Received my George Foreman grill today and love it. I live in a townhouse with a 4x6 "balcony" and gas/charcoal grills are not permitted. This unit fits neatly in the corner and also sits nicely on my stovetop under the hood. I think it provides plenty of heat and my ribeyes were delicious!!!

I have had this grill for years and I love it!!
It comes apart easily for cleaning and heats evenly..
I like it so much that I bought it as gifts for family and they love it too...
Its great for winter grilling when its too cold to grill outdoors or for a person that lives in an apartment or condo..

  3. My co-worker had bought this item and I couldn't resist to get one for my self. I went to many different stores and could not find it until I went onto Amazon.com. I love to grill, being a latina who loves certain foods that only taste good grilled I had to have this. Since I live in an apartment and no grills allowed on balconies, really made me depressed, until my grill came and I have been happy ever since.

  4. I love this grill. The trick is that I cook with parchment paper and the clean up is a breeze! Just lay down a piece of the parchment paper and when you're done cooking you just pick up the paper and don't have to clean.

  6. I am very pleased with this grill. When I'm done cooking I always dread the clean up; BUT as I sullenly stood at the sink and began the dreaded task, I was pleasantly surprised that clean up was a snap! It only took me a minute or two to have the thing looking like new! I walked away from the sink with a big smile!!! It is a good size...For my first meal I cooked steak and potatoes for 3, and there was plenty of room for more! I have only used this thing outside; but from what I have observed, let me suggest that if you use it inside, place it on your stove top and turn on the exhaust fan because it does give off a bit of smoke and there is some spattering which I am sure could leave some not so desirable after effects indoors. My only other minor complaint would be that there is no steam vent on the lid, so when you lift it be careful because it did have quite a bit of run off. Let me also say that my friend has the bigger model and it does have the lid vent which is great...BUT on the same token it doesn't have the nice clip underneath which keeps the grill attached to the stand. If you want to move hers, you can't just pick it up by the handles. (Although, let me make it clear, I would not recommend moving either of them while hot or with the weight of food on them; I am talking about moving them for storage or to transport). Overall, it's a great product. Keep in mind, of course, this is not a charcoal grill...so you might want to get a little creative with things like liquid smoke or hickory salt, etc. I am pleased with my purchase, but remember that we all do not have the same uses and expectations planned for the product...so it is natural to find other reviews which may not be so favorable; therefore, I suggest you choose the review that most closely relates to what you would plan to use this grill for. So far I have had success with steak, hamburgers, hot dogs and potatoes. I cannot vouch yet for things like chicken, pork chops, or kabobs...I haven't gone there...yet.

  7. I replaced my counter grill with this one, and it far meets my expectations. It has a large grilling area. I haven't used it outside but when the grandkids come over, I'm sure they would like a cookout.

  8. Most apartments and condos don't allow gas/charcoal bbq grills to be used. I bought this product and it is my new best friend. It is a breese to clean and it cooks fast. Though it will never replace the gas/charcoal grills, it is a heck of a backup.
